This family couldn't be more special to me if they were my own family! The Page's literally have been there since day 1 of my photography journey and have stuck with me all the way through 2012. I have felt genuinely blessed to be able to capture their daughter Addison's portraits this year, and their 6 month family session was definitely my favorite thus far!

Baby Mason {Savannah, GA Newbor Photographer}
What a sweetie this little guy was. Took about an hour to get him good and conked out (all the more
reason for me to get in some snuggles) but once he was asleep, I don't think a freight train could have stirred him! I hope to see a lot more of this handsome man in the future.

Mr. Luke {Baxley, GA Childrens Photographer}
This little man stole my heart!! His family has the most gorgeous property to photograph on and we had so much fun riding around and trying out different spots. His mama is as sweet as can be and I can't wait to take some photos of them together soon!

A Chauncey Easter {Baxley, GA Family Photographer}
Here's even more of my (highly attractive) extended family! This was the first time I had ever photographed such a large number of people and these guys couldn't have made it any easier on me, or more fun. I think maybe I laughed as much as I photographed. Everyone is so full of personality and life, and I'm so blessed to call them all family. Happy Easter and I love you guys!

Seriously, how lucky am I to be related to this gorgeous bunch?? They live waaay up in Gainesville, GA, so we don't get to see them nearly as much as we'd like to. But when we all do get together it's always so much fun!! I felt so blessed to be able to capture this family's fun spirit and love for each other.

Lesson Learned. {Statesboro, GA Newborn Lifestyle Family Photographer
Getting my images ready for Evy's 1st year
album, and I came across this one. ♥ You'll have to forgive my
sentimentality this morning, but her birthday is just around the corner
and this picture is so special to me for a number of reasons. One, of
course, it is of me and my precious girl, at only a few days old, taken
by my husband. I can still feel how tiny she was in my arms back then.
Secondly, it's because I may never have
gotten to see this memory. Back in December, my hard drive crashed, and
with it a ton of the first photos ever taken of Evy's life. Through the
magic of data recovery, I was able to salvage the folder, and found this
image. Lesson for today **back up your photographs** Please, I beg of
you. I don't think I have ever felt such a sense of panic as when I
thought those memories might be lost forever. Also, GET YOUR PICTURES
OFF YOUR COMPUTER PEOPLE!!!! Print them, hang them, put them to use!!
This is a BIG reason why a lot of photographers don't sell digital
images. They end up on your *perishable* hard dives and never see the
light of day. I am determined to correct this in my household. And I
hope my clients, disc or not, have those memories displayed in a
tangible form. I am so glad this picture made its way back to me. And at
this very moment, it is on order, on its way to my wall, where it
belongs.

Wating on Emma {Valdosta, GA Maternity Photographer}
Brandy is a sweet little southern belle expecting a tiny little southern belle of her own any second now. Our first scheduled date got monsoon-ed out. (no, really) And this girl was as gracious about it as could be. The weather turned out splendidly for the next date and we got some great shots of this gorgeous mother and her family! Can't wait to meet the next edition coming *very* soon!!!

Double the Blessings {Alma, GA Newborn Photographer}
When I found out Nick and Jennifer Overstreet were expecting twins, I was as overcome with joy I believe as when I found out Evy was on her way. I cannot say that I know of two babies on this earth that are as loved, were as prayed for and welcomed into this world as Knox and Maddox. These babies are as blessed to have Nick and Jennifer as mommy and daddy as I'm sure they feel to have them in their lives. So before I get too wordy and weepy, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. ;) Nick and Jennifer were sweet enough that they have me signed on for the year!(Yey!) So you'll be seeing lots and lots of these precious angels!!

Baby Olivia {Metter, GA Newborn Photographer}
You first met this family back in November, while Miss Olivia was still in her mommy's tummy. Brandy was one of the very first people to jump up when I started my photography venture and her trust to now capture the first year of her baby girls life means more than can say. I absolutely adore her family. Matt and I are so lucky to call Rhett and Brandy friends of ours. The newborn session was an adventure to schedule! Mother nature sent some *crazy* weather that week, and so we ended up breaking the session into two times, and wouldn't you know it, sweet Olivia was an angel both times. Her big brother Zach was such a big help, even reminded me to wash my hands! ;) Already looking out for his sweet baby sister. I have a LOT of favorites from this session, so be prepared. Congratulations to the Youngblood family, see you again in a few months!!!

Sweet Miss Marley {Statesboro Newborn Photographer}
I love everything about newborn sessions. The light, the pace, the attention to detail. Recently, there has been a bit of debate amongst photographers about the 'type' of newborn sessions are best. The more 'posed' portrait type with blankets, props and such or the 'lifestyle' type, which depicts the experience in real time of life with a newborn, with parents and siblings. True to my personality, I can't decide. I like both! :) and since my "studio" travels with me most of the time I say why not give my clients the best of both worlds? I love the ooey gooey cuteness of sweet hair bows and a matching blanket, but I also know that those family moments with a brand new baby are fleeting and are to be treasured. So I do both. It thrills me to death to capture the interaction between mother and child, and the session with Marley and her sweet mother, Courtney were just so amazing. Marley was almost 5 weeks old at the time of this session, so I was a tad nervous, but let me tell you, she was an *angel*. I had an awesome time just hanging out and could have taken pictures of this little nugget all day! Congratulations to the Sharpe family!!
