Tonya and Asa {Baxley, GA Wedding and Engagement Photographer}

Ok. In a word, I loooooooved this session. I loved doing it, and I think I literally squealed more than once while editing this session. These guys are gorgeous to start with, and they have that relaxed, bohemian vibe that I just adore photographing. We'd previously rescheduled due to weather, and I am so glad we did because the sunset on this day was nothing short of stunning. Thanks to Tonya and Asa for such a fun afternoon!! Can't wait til the wedding!

Yates and Tricia {Baxley, GA Engagement and Wedding Photographer}

Yates is one of my most favorite members of Matt's family. He's charismatic as the day is long, has a boisterous, infectious laugh and is just plain good to the core. Matt and I had been praying for quite some time that he'd find a good girl to keep him company. During his travels driving his big rig, he met Tricia, and when he brought her to meet us for the first time I had an inkling right then and there that she was the One. She is the perfect sweet yet strong balance for Yates and they are hopelessly, truly in love.  It definitely shines through their photos and I am eagerly awaiting photographing their wedding in June!! If the ceremony is half as romantic as their engagement session, I'll surely need to have a box of kleenex handy!

Mylee + Matt {Statesboro Couples Photographer}

I am so behind on my blogging!! I cannot believe it has taken me this long to post the session with this gogeous couple! Seriously. They are gorgeous. Both of them. These guys took advantage of my minisession and when it rained us out the first day they came back the next morning and boy was it worth it! The light here in the morning is just dazzling. Or, it could have been the chemistry between these two. Even their names sound good together, don't they? These guys were a photographer's dream. You can't fake a connection like they have! Mylee is one of my best friend's neice and she is just such a lady. I really miss the days when girls were ladies and boys were gentlemen and Mylee and Matt are just such a couple. Absolutely darling, they were. See for yourself!

Short and Sweet {Statesboro, GA Couples Photographer}

Do you know that my husband and I have *never* had professional photos of just us together? Sometimes romance gets lost in the shuffle of life, trust me I know! I fully intend (someday) to schedule a session for just me and Matt. For you guys, this time could be now!! Think of it has a mini-date :) You get to dress up, take a romantic stroll, gaze adoringly at each other, and you have proof!! (teehee) $75 dollars buys you the session and 5 beautifully edited images of you together on disc. Then its back to the kids, errands and whatever else a Saturday has in store for you. L+D {Savannah, GA Engagement Photographer}

Now, anyone who has been a client of mine so far knows that "on location" photography can mean in your home, or out in the middle of some field out in God's country. And we may have to walk there. I think I may have pushed that envelope with  Lauren and Daniel. I literally took them on a two mile hike (both ways) to get some of these shots, and then drove them out to an abandoned house for the last remaining few---in the rain. To say they were patient, trusting and total sweethearts about it all is to say the very least about this lovely couple. There smiling faces is just as much a testiment to that as the love so evident between them. I was so happy to find out that these two are looking to settle near Baxley, GA (where my husbands family lives and a place we frequent often) . I can't wait to have bar-b-que's, watch football games...and maybe take portraits of future children?? Ok, ok I threw that last one in there. But really, I am looking forward to spending more time with these two. They are laid back and easy to laugh with and really a joy to be around. To Lauren--Congratulations my sweet friend. I am so happy for the love you have found and I  truly wish you both every happiness in life, you are such a beautiful person both inside and out. To Daniel--if the house you guys find doesn't have an "upstairs deer stand" like the one Matt hunts out of, you are more than welcome to use ours any time. ;)
